Travelers in search of a screaming good time won’t have to look further than Busch Gardens Tampa Bay during their next getaway to The Sunshine State thanks to the park’s newest ride, Serengeti Flyer.
Outfitted to accommodate 40 riders at a time, this massive attraction reaches a maximum height of 135 ft and hits a top speed of 68 mph, treating adventurous park-goers to several negative-G moments. Sound a bit extreme? Visitors can adjust the ride’s intensity level to fit what Busch Gardens Tampa Bay calls a “milder or wilder experience”.
“Thrills are in full swing at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay with yet another exciting record-setting ride for our guests to enjoy,” said Neal Thurman, park president of Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. “As the world’s tallest and fastest ride of its kind, Serengeti Flyer joins a world-class portfolio of attractions, offering breathtaking views of the park and a one-of-a-kind experience for all our guests.”
Home to 17 incredible rides and experiences suited for travelers of every age, the Serengeti Flyer is in good company at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. Coaster lovers can catch thrills on exciting rides like Iron Gwazi, Tigris, Cobra’s Curse, Montu and more. While younger kiddos can dip their toes in theme park fun with rides like Air Grover, Serengeti Express, Congo River Rapids and more.
Plus, travelers looking to pack the most action into their visit can take advantage of the park’s Quick Queue, a pass that allows visitors to skip the lines once per ride at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay’s most popular rides and coasters for the day.
