Norwegian Cruise Line Introduces SAIL SAFE Health and Safety Program

To show their dedication to the safety and health of their passengers and crew, Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL) announced an update to their Peace of Mind philosophy with the new SAIL SAFE Health and Safety Program.

In a recent email, NCL says they worked with world-class experts in public health, infectious disease and sanitation to implement the program, which has six key areas:

  1. Enhanced screening protocols
  2. Increased sanitation measures
  3. All-new air filtration
  4. Responsible social distancing
  5. Enhanced medical resources
  6. Extended ship to shore safety

NCL has taken further steps to ensure this information is easily learned and shareable for travel advisors and their travelers. That includes an infographic with details on the program, a flyer with even more details and a course for travel advisors in NCL University.
