La Colección Resorts Makes COVID Testing Available at All Resorts

As part of their Travel with Confidence program, La Colección Resorts is offering COVID-19 tests at their resorts for travelers who need them in order to return home.

La Colección is offering two types of tests: antigen tests and PCR tests. The antigen tests are complimentary and should be requested through the resort’s concierge and scheduled 36 hours before departure. The PCR tests have a cost and should be requested through the resort’s concierge and scheduled 72 hours before departure.

The Travel with Confidence program also includes an insurance program that travelers can purchase. If a traveler purchases the Travel with Confidence Protection insurance and tests positive for COVID-19 during their stay, thus needing to quarantine at the resort, the accommodation rate for the quarantine period is only $10 plus taxes per night, per person.

La Colección’s new testing offering comes just days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced that starting Jan. 26, all air passengers entering the U.S. are required to get a viral test within three days before their flight to the U.S. and provide documentation to the airline they’re flying with of either a negative result for COVID-19 or proof that they’ve recovered from COVID-19.
