Travel insights from Andrea Sedlacek, editor of The Compass

July 2019 Editor’s Note

Well, July has been so busy; I almost forgot to write my editor's note! Rest easy, everyone, because here it is.

So what has been happening this month? First, our theme is something I’m very into: eco-friendly and sustainable travel. Here’s what we’ve already published for you on that topic:

Our destination focus this month is the Mediterranean, which gives me serious wanderlust. Did you know about these updates on the tourist rules in Rome? That’s definitely worth sharing with any clients heading there. Greece is a super hot destination right now, so if you’re new to the destination and need some ideas, we’ve compiled the top Greek hotels amongst VAX agents. And you know how our editorial team loves the off-beat, quirky side, so please enjoy “The Weird and the Wonderful of the Mediterranean, Part 1” and stay tuned for part 2 later this month!

One more thing before I go...if you follow me on Twitter, you’ll know that I visited Reflect Cancun in late May. I really loved my time there, so I shared my experience on The Compass. That wasn’t my first time at an AMResort, but it was one of my favorites, so check it out now.
