Changes Coming Soon to 3 AMR™ Collection Properties

Three resorts in the AMR™ Collection are undergoing changes in the near future.

In an email sent to their travel partners on June 2, the AMR™ Collection shared news that Sunscape® Splash Montego Bay and Sunscape® Cove Montego Bay resorts will change management from AMR™ Collection branded properties.

According to the email, “Both resorts are currently closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic and upon reopening the hotels will not reopen as AMR™ Collection branded properties but will return to the market as Sunset branded resorts – Sunset Beach Resort, Spa & Waterpark and the Oasis at Sunset."

In an email sent their travel partners on June 3, AMR™ Collection announced that Now^® Natura Riviera Cancun, which was previously scheduled to reopen on July 1, 2020, will instead open on September 15, 2020 and will be opening as Dreams® Natura Resort & Spa, complete with the Dreams brand’s signature Unlimited-Luxury® offerings.

AMR™ Collection says they are excited to make this change: “This change fits with the AMR™ Collection strategy to evolve and enhance guest experience to align with targeted guest profiles, which in this case are families seeking the particular and elevated vacation experience that the Dreams brand is known to deliver,” the email says.  

AMR™ Collection notes that all existing bookings at Now Natura Riviera Cancun will be honored at Dreams Natura Resort & Spa, and room categories will not be modified at this time and for guests scheduled to travel July 1 – September 14, prior to the reopening date, AMR™ Collection will protect all reservations at Dreams Riviera Cancun.
