Beth's Buzz on KHM’s Crystal Conference 2018

January is usually the time of year that KHM hosts their Crystal Awards Conference. It is the event that top and promising agents are invited to attend for training, supplier and top agent networking opportunities. This was my second time attending and it has quickly become an event that I look forward to for multiple reasons.

As a supplier, I get very excited about conferences when they are at sea. There is the obvious reason that I LOVE to cruise, but beyond that, cruising provides bonus engagement with agents. They are consistently in the same space that we are so it’s less likely that they’ll spread out and be harder to reach. I have multiple opportunities to train on our technology, discuss their businesses, receive feedback, and all around get to know them more closely, building last relationships.

This year I was especially excited to be able to generate some excitement about our, at that time, impending relaunch of VAX and the introduction of The Compass. My shared training with The Mark Travel Corporation and the tradeshow early in the conference ignited the vision and brought many agents looking for me to share their excitement for the expansion of VAX into the travel marketplace.
