Here in Wisconsin we are finally starting to see the steady face of Spring. I’m vaxxed and ready for travel so my mind is dreaming of beaches and heading there to get some vitamin sea!
My job does, under normal circumstances, take me to some amazing destinations all in the name of work. Now, also under normal circumstances, there is little time to enjoy these amazing destinations which seems to me to be the biggest tease of my life. There are, however, some rare cases where my toes get to be buried in the sand and, even better, the chance to spend time in the sun and sea!
Here are my top three beaches, in no particular order, that have provided me the ultimate enjoyment during a business trip.
This beach has an abundance of palm trees you so can enjoy the beach without being in the sun, if desired. I tend to like a little shade to retreat to when I get too hot, which happens quickly. The sand is soft and fine, and it goes out endlessly into the water. The water is a beautiful turquoise and clear enough that you can see what is going on under the surface, which to me is necessary for my comfort level. I don’t enjoy fishy chews.
I love this beach for its expansive white sand and plenty of room for multiple beachgoers. The water is a lovely, soft, rolling aquamarine and the temperature was so comfortable yet refreshing. There were umbrellas available to find that shade if necessary, as well.
I had never seen water so stunningly clear and peacock blue in person. This beach was the first that I was able to enjoy like this, so it does hold a special place in my heart. It felt surreal to experience it but so wonderful!
Based on my descriptions, I would guess you see a pattern here. I love fine, white, soft sand and the clear beautiful color of the water. I love to walk the beaches in the morning before the day gets started. Fresh air, sounds of the water and some good movement starts the day off right. I love to be able to venture into the water in comfortable sand for my tootsies and little to no bother of underwater swimmers unexpectedly. These three beaches give me all of that for rest, relaxation and rejuvenation!
This is not to say that I don’t enjoy the water in other ways, but that is for another article.
What are your favorite beaches and why?
Hello my travel advisor friends! Yes, it is true that after an extended furlough I am back in the BDM seat for VAX VacationAccess. I can tell you it feels so good to be involved in this wonderful industry again and back with my amazing team! The travel industry has been battered and bruised, but the
I was fortunate to be able to help Dugan’s celebrate their 20th birthday in Anaheim, CA in February. The most agents in my history with Dugan’s gathered ready to engage for this conference! This was my 4th Anaheim conference with them, and once again, though I’m right across the street from Disneyl
Early in September I attended CoNexion, Nexion’s international conference. History has always proven this to be a highly engaged, energetic and exciting event and this year was truly no different. Arriving at Loews Royal Pacific Resort is always exciting, as who doesn’t love Universal Orlando? Eve
