The six vacation brands that make up Apple Leisure Group Vacations® took home 11 Travvy Awards at the sixth-annual award celebration last week in New York. The Travvy Awards are voted on by travel advisors, making the wins important an important recognition and show of support to the suppliers.
Funjet Vacations took home four gold awards:
This is the second year in a row Funjet has taken the gold in the overall, Caribbean and family categories.
Travel Impressions also accepted four awards, gold in the Best Vacation Packager – Europe and Best Vacation Packager – Premium categories and silver in the Best Vacation Packager – Africa and Best Vacation Packager – Luxury categories. They also won gold last year for Europe packager.
For the second year in a row, Blue Sky Tours won gold for Best Vacation Packager – Hawaii. Apple Vacations won silver in the Best Vacation Packager – Mexico category also for the second year in a row and Southwest Vacations claimed silver in Best Vacation Packager – U.S./Canada.
