Apple Leisure Group Launches Agent Rewards and ALGV360

ALG WAVES

Apple Leisure Group Vacations (ALGV) previewed its new agent rewards program, WAVES, at ALGV’s first annual “Ascend” conference in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania earlier this week. WAVES will allow travel advisors to earn points for bookings on all ALGV brands. The program, which is slated to launch this November, will log bookings in 2020 and includes rewards benefits from each of the ALGV portfolio of brands including Apple Vacations, Funjet Vacations, Travel Impressions, United Vacations, Blue Sky Tours and Southwest Vacations.

Agents can redeem points for hotel stays, seats on exclusive nonstop flights or choose to convert points to cash with ALGV’s new Virtual Visa which works like a physical credit card and can be redeemed anywhere Visa is accepted.

“Agents can now benefit from a single rewards program that is supported through all of our well known vacation brands,” said Jacqueline Marks, executive vice president at Apple Leisure Group Vacations. “We are creating benefits for frontline agents that are available across our entire portfolio of brands. Six vacation brands, one rewards program.”

The company will further reward top WAVES earners with a tiered agent recognition program called Wavemakers that provides additional benefits and promotions for frontline agents. Benefits include top tier customer service access with direct access to a dedicated service team, FAM trip discounts, bonus points, marketing support and more.

ALGV360

ALGV has also launched ALGV360. The program is meant to provide a one-stop-shop for marketing support and will include multi-media materials for agents looking to co-promote their business alongside each of the six ALGV brands. Agents can access all marketing materials through a browser based system, include their own agency logo, call to action and leverage the marketing content as their own. The platform will support marketing materials for multiple media types including TV, radio, online advertising and traditional print and flyers.

As a web-based program, ALGV360 is accessible from any computer with an internet connection, including mobile.
