AMResorts®, a subsidiary company of Apple Leisure Group®, the leading North American travel and hospitality management group, has officially expanded its European footprint beyond Spain by taking over the brand management of three resorts in Greece, property of Hotel Investment Partners (HIP), the largest hotel owner in Southern Europe. Since 2019, AMResorts has quickly grown to 19 resorts in the Balearic and Canary Islands of Spain, Greece is now the second European market for the company.
Located in the Greek islands of Crete, Corfu and Zante, the 3 new properties that will be brand managed by AMResortsenjoy prime seafront locations. In total, they offer 845 rooms and will be operated under the Dreams® Resorts & Spas brand in Crete and Corfu, and under the Alua® Hotels & Resorts brand in Zante.
The 5-star Dreams Crete will span 357 rooms on a prime location in Malame beach, and the 5-star Dreams Corcyra in Corfu will boast 327 rooms. The Alua Soul Plagos Beach in Zante, will operate in the 4-star segment with 161 rooms.
The three resorts will undergo a major renovation by HIP in order to adapt them to the AMResorts’ brands standards and attributes and will begin operations under the Dreams and Alua Soul brands in the summer of 2022. The Dreams-branded properties will offer AMResorts’ exclusive ‘Unlimited-Luxury’ vacation concept, with unlimited access to gourmet dining options and premium beverages, concierge services and a daily refreshed mini-bar, as well as a Preferred Club. The Alua Soul Plagos Beach will offer its ‘Adults Only’, ‘All inclusive’ concept, which includes breakfast, lunch, dinner and national & international beverages.

With this operation, AMResorts now has 22 hotels and resorts and 7,205 rooms in Europe. Prior to this agreement, AMResorts already managed 10 properties owned by HIP in the Spanish islands of Mallorca, Ibiza and Fuerteventura.
