ALG Vacations Eliminates Cancellation and Change Fees in Major Policy Update

As of Nov. 24, 2020, ALG Vacations (ALGV) will waive all brand cancellation and change fees on all new land-only FIT bookings, with no booking or travel window restrictions.

ALGV is also extending their policy of zero brand change fees and zero brand revision fees on all scheduled air bookings and all Exclusive Nonstop Vacation Flight booking changes made more than 45 days from departure. That promotional policy was originally set to end by Jan. 3, 2021, but has now been extended indefinitely.

Jacki Marks, executive vice president of trade brands for ALGV, announced the policy update in an email sent on Nov. 24, 2020. “ALGV remains committed to doing whatever we can to be the family of operators that offers the very best pricing and most lenient policies,” she said in the email. “Because this year especially, we are thankful for the collective mindset that has allowed us to learn, lean, and grow TOGETHER, and it's important to us to continue to contribute to it. We want to make sure you have every advantage as we work hard side by side to rebuild and recover.”

These policy changes apply to Apple Vacations, Travel Impressions, Funjet Vacations, United Vacations and Blue Sky Tours and any third-party hotel and feature fees will still apply.
