On Jan. 26, ALG Vacations launched a new hotel filter to show the hotels and resorts that are now offering on-site COVID-19 testing. This new functionality is in response to the CDC’s new requirement that travelers returning to the U.S. present a negative COVID-19 test upon entry.
When shopping the ALG Vacations brands on VAX VacationAccess, the new filter appears in the left-hand column of the search results in the “Hotel Amenities” section.
Individual hotels in the search results also include hotel-specific messaging to show that a hotel offers on-site COVID-19 testing and whether it is complimentary or has a cost.
The new filter and hotel-specific messaging are available in many of ALG Vacations’ popular international destinations like Cancun, Cozumel, Los Cabos, Puerto Vallarta, Montego Bay, Punta Cana, the Bahamas and Aruba.
This new functionality was introduced in conjunction with ALG Vacations’ toolkit which was created to help agents navigate the industry right now.
