Trisept was well-represented at industry events in April. We had a highly visible presence at the Las Vegas Home Based Travel Agent Forum this year, kicking off the event on Sunday afternoon by participating in a new technology-themed panel moderated by Sharon Campbell Little, the president and owner of the award-winning Wedding and Honeymoon Travel Group. The focus of the panel was encouraging agents to overcome their resistance and possible fear to technology and embrace it as the future to their success.
The three-hour event started with an hour of technology representation, followed by an hour of top agents sharing their best technology practices and culminated with a combined panel of technology and top agents answering questions from the audience of agents. It was really a great experience and I hope we can look forward to more technology inclusions in the coming year and events!
I was fortunate to have enough interest in our VAX training on Tuesday to fill the room! I love the opportunity to share our updates and how VAX is consumed with travel agent success. I was so pleased to see agents line up after the training to thank me for the latest improvements! One agent said, "VAX has added everything I need! Thank you!"
Following the training, we had the tradeshow and our traffic was the best we've seen at this event in the past years. Both VAX and Xcelerator had lines of people waiting to talk to us!
That night, I was lucky enough to co-host several wonderful agents with my Mark Travel colleagues, Cheryl Hudak and Lisa Doss, and LVCVA for drinks, dinner and the incredible Michael Jackson ONE show. Do NOT miss this show if you are in Vegas and have the opportunity! It was so entertaining and engaging!
The next week we traveled to Fort Lauderdale for Cruise360. Our presence there was smaller but yet still quite exciting! Our tradeshow traffic was yet again the best compared to years before. Our award-winning technology brings the agents around to show their love, share their feedback and find out if they are missing anything and it's the best part of my job. I love working for a company that embraces technology and innovates on behalf of travel agents every day.
I was fortunate to be able to help Dugan’s celebrate their 20th birthday in Anaheim, CA in February. The most agents in my history with Dugan’s gathered ready to engage for this conference! This was my 4th Anaheim conference with them, and once again, though I’m right across the street from Disneyl
Hello my travel advisor friends! Yes, it is true that after an extended furlough I am back in the BDM seat for VAX VacationAccess. I can tell you it feels so good to be involved in this wonderful industry again and back with my amazing team! The travel industry has been battered and bruised, but the
January is usually the time of year that KHM hosts their Crystal Awards Conference. It is the event that top and promising agents are invited to attend for training, supplier and top agent networking opportunities. This was my second time attending and it has quickly become an event that I look forw
The 2019 Travel Leader’s Network EDGE Conference was held this year at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland. I was lucky enough to attend the event with a few other members of our VAX team; Sarah, our senior manager of VAX’s marketing and operations, and Jor
