Top Flight Family, a family of four living in New York, travels to some pretty incredible destinations like Dubai and Hong Kong, and even though they have “luxury” in their handle, they hit up some more attainable destinations, too. Think Montego Bay, Aruba and Cancun. They recently stayed at Grand Reserve at Paradisus Palma Real in Punta Cana and took full advantage of the water park, kids’ club and dining options (the resort has nine restuarants!).
The family behind The Traveling Child has created a delightful Instagram account full of the happiest smiles you’ve ever seen. And of course their kids would be happy when they get to stay at super fun resorts like Pink Shell Beach Resort & Marina in Fort Myers! The property is huge (12 acres!) and surrounded by nature, with Matanza Pass (a protected natural area) on one side and the Gulf of Mexico on the other. What makes this resort perfect for families is the choice of studios as well as one- and two-bedroom accommodations. The Traveling Child loved the resort’s movie nights with free popcorn and fun activities like scavenger hunts and crafts during the day.
The Jetsetting Family truly lives up to their name, having visited Vietnam, Australia, Malaysia and more with their two little ones. But they don’t always travel far and recently visited Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya in Playa del Carmen. The resort has the only wave pool in the Riviera Maya along with an exact replica of Chichen Itza and an amazing lazy river, which the Jetsetting Family took full advantage of in their visit.
Yes, Vegas can be family-friendly. Nadia of the funwithmama Instagram account stayed at the sister resort of Wynn Las Vegas with her family of four and never ran out of things to do. Even the city’s transition from day to night is enough to captivate kids. Need more convincing? Check out the #vegaswithkids hashtag.
Kelly and Aaron of the No Man Before travel and adventure blog recently had somewhat of a staycation on California’s Mission Bay at this lovely California retreat. There are plenty of room choices, including bungalows. The resort is a great fit for families, with a kids-only swimming pool (plus four other pools to choose from), a lagoon with a sandy beach area and a mini golf course. Plus it’s a 5-minute drive to SeaWorld Sand Diego.
