11 Sandals Resorts are Now Open Again

Eleven of the 15 resorts in Sandals Resorts’ collection are now reopened, with more on the way.

In June 2020, Sandals introduced their Platinum Protocols of Cleanliness that include “several pre-emptive cleanliness measures that safeguard the guest journey from arrival to departure, including additional health and well-being requirements across all points of contact on resort.” As of January 26, 2021, Sandals expanded their Travel with Confidence program to include complimentary COVID-19 testing for all guests across the Sandals and Beaches resorts, in response to the CDC’s testing requirement for travelers returning to the U.S.

Here are the 11 resorts that are now open and operating under the new protocols and offering on-site COVID-19 testing:

Antigua

  • Sandals Royal Caribbean
  • Sandals Negril
  • Sandals Ochi
  • Sandals South Coast
  • Sandals Royal Plantation

Bahamas

  • Sandals Emerald Bay

St. Lucia

  • Sandals Grande St. Lucia
  • Sandals Regency La Toc
  • Sandals Halcyon Beach

Sandals has anticipated reopening dates for the remaining four closed resorts:

Bahamas

  • Sandals Royal Bahamian – opening May 1, 2021

Grenada

  • Sandals Grenada – opening March 31, 2021

Barbados

  • Sandals Royal Barbados – opening April 2, 2021
  • Sandals Barbados – opening April 2, 2021
